BEM’s vision is to reach everyone in Belgium with the Gospel by evangelizing every generation and people group and planting churches in every city and town. Therefore all of our efforts are geared towards evangelism and church planting. Some of our missionaries work as pioneers in regions that do not have a church, yet. They organize campaigns: literature distributions, concerts and other events to meet people and make themselves known in their area. The people who show interest in the Gospel are invited to Bible studies. After a number of years, church services start and a church is born. Other missionaries work together with an existing church to start a new “daughter” church in the area.

In order to help this process, the BEM has support ministries: bookstores, the Norton House (administration and hospitality), the Bible exhibition, Camp Limauges, the barges, the children’s and women’s committees, publications and correspondence courses. You can find more information about this in our “support ministries” category.
